Aug. 21 – Officers assisted with a PFA (protection from abuse) violation. Officers provided needed information, and a report was placed on file.
Aug. 22 – Officers responded to Chatham Apartments for an alcohol violation.
Aug. 22 – Officers took a theft report at the Chatham Bookstore.
Aug. 25 – Officers assisted a Student at Chatham Apartments who was locked out of the room. The roommate put the chain on the door and fell asleep.
Aug. 26 and Sept. 9 – Officers took a report for a suspicious person at the Centre Avenue Apartments.
Aug. 26 – Officers assisted a faculty member who locked keys in a vehicle.
Aug. 27 – Officers responded to the Jennie King Mellon Library for a disturbance. Upon arrival Officers settled the disturbance without incident.
Aug. 27 – Officers assisted a student with a dead battery in a vehicle. Officers jump-started the vehicle.
Aug. 27 – Officers responded to Anderson Dining Hall for a disturbance. Employees were arguing. Officers settled the argument without incident.
Aug. 28 – Officers responded to Pelletreau Apartments for the smell of marijuana. The source could not be located.
Aug. 29 – Officers responded to what sounded like an explosion. It was determined to be a blown fuse in a light pole in the Terrace Parking Lot.
Aug. 31 – Officers took a criminal mischief report in the Hicks parking lot for damage to vehicle.
Sept. 1 – Officers were called to Pelletreau Apartments for a stove that would not shut off. Officers notified facilities who responded and shut the stove off.
Sept. 3 – Officers responded to the Quad for unwanted solicitors. They were asked to leave, which they did without incident.
Sept. 6 – Officers responded to Chapel Hill for a possible road rage incident. Upon arrival, officers spoke to individuals involved and determined there was no road rage.
Sept. 9 – Officers took a report at Eastside for a vehicle that bumped into another vehicle.
Sept. 10 – Officers responded to Pelletreau Apartments for a lost wallet. A report was placed on file.
Other updates: Officers responded to nine medical assists on campus.
