Partial eclipse brings community outdoors to witness history

Students from across Chatham University headed outdoors on April 8 to view the solar eclipse. While the path of 100% totality did not pass over Chatham, onlookers from Eden Hall, Chatham Eastside and the Shadyside campus were able to see a partial eclipse.

Viewers donned glasses to watch the historic event that will not return to the continental United States until 2044. Share your photos from the eclipse to our Instagram @Communique_CU.
