Chatham University’s spring formal is underway, taking place from 8-11 p.m. on April 5. This year’s event will be held at the Pittsburgh Zoo & Aquarium. Tickets are currently available through March 22. 

Spring formal is an annual event organized by the Chatham Activities Board (CAB) and has previously been held at various locations across the Pittsburgh area, such as 2023’s formal at PNC Park and last year’s formal at Eden Hall.

Those who wish to attend can purchase tickets here or through the link sent by CAB to your Chatham email, directing you to the 2025 Spring Formal Eventbrite page.

Tickets range from $10-$20, with the early bird tickets (available through March 3) priced at $10, standard Chatham Student tickets at $15 and tickets for non-Chatham students at $20. 

Any exhibits beyond the designated event area will not be accessible, meaning attendees will have limited access to other amenities traditionally offered by the zoo. 

Dress is formal and an array of drink and food options will be offered to those in attendance. Additionally, anyone 21 and over with a valid form of identification such as a state ID or passport will have access to the bar. For more information and policies, visit the Eventbrite page.
