Police Blotter: Incidents reported at Chatham University, Oct. 30 – Nov. 4

1:30 a.m. Oct. 30 – Officers were dispatched to Chatham Apartments for a sick student. City of Pittsburgh medics transported the student to the hospital. 

10:05 a.m. Nov. 2 – Officers received a call from Eden Hall regarding property damage. A garbage truck ran over an electrical box causing damage. An officer placed a report on file. 

10:06 a.m. Nov 2 – Officers received another report from Eden Hall. Officers were informed that on Nov. 1 an outside vendor was injured while conducting work. The worker cut his hand, which required stitches. 

3:30 p.m. Nov. 3 – Officers took a report for an injured student at Eden Hall. The student reported she was injured and called her father, who took her for medical treatment. 

9:20 a.m. Nov. 4 – Officers received an unknown trouble call at Chatham Eastside. Upon arrival, officers noticed an individual conducting some kind of protest. It’s unknown what he was protesting, but he gathered his belongings and left the area at the request of police without further incident. 

Additional reports: Officers responded to four alarm calls, including fire and burglar alarms that all were deemed to be false.
