Carson Gates ’25 is a Communications major with a concentration in journalism. Carson is from the Buffalo, New York area, and chose Chatham University for its quiet and homey feel on campus, while also being smack dab in a major city. Carson is the editor-in-chief emeritus for the Communqiué, following his two-year tenure as editor-in-chief. Carson primarily writes for the sports section but has found his way into other sections. While being a writer, Carson is also one of the hosts for the Communqiué’s award-winning “Quadcast.” Carson Gates can be reached best at [email protected] or via Instagram or Twitter @gatesy35.
Ireland Kennedy ‘27 is a Pittsburgh native who prioritizes new learning experiences and open-mindedness in both her journalistic career and personal life. As a communications: journalism major and digital media minor, she holds a love for narratives and storytelling, especially in TV and video games. When not running around Chatham’s campus helplessly, she can be found observing the deer in her backyard and playing The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask on her 3DS. She can be reached most easily through her Instagram, @dangireland, or [email protected].
Sarah Naccarato ‘27 is a communications: journalism major and photography minor. A Pittsburgh suburb native, Sarah accidentally discovered Chatham on a school trip and has since been finding more people with similar and equally weird interests. Sarah enjoys writing a little bit about everything and keeps the Communiqué website running. Outside of the Communiqué, she enjoys spending time in nature, reading, driving with music and the windows down, making weird art and watching a little too many movies. For inquiries, Sarah can be best reached on the quad, via email at [email protected] or on Instagram @sarah.n.17.
