March 11 – Officers checked on a leaking light fixture in Haber Apartments. The leak was found in the room above and was taken care of by Facilities.
March 11 and March 13 – Officers conducted a welfare check along with the Office of Residence Life on a student in Chatham Apartments. The student was found to be OK.
March 13 – An officer took a report for a broken window at the Carriage House.
March 18 – An officer was dispatched to Anderson Dining Hall for a possible theft report that occurred at Cafe Rachel. The possible theft is under investigation.
March 19 – The Chatham Police Department received information about a possible abandoned vehicle parked at Chatham Eastside. The vehicle was checked and is under investigation.
March 19 – An officer assisted a roofer at the Thomson House who may have had a seizure. When the officer arrived, the person stated that he did not have a seizure and that he was fine. The person refused medical treatment.
March 20 – Officers responded to Chatham Apartments for a non-student who may have taken too much medication. The patient was transported to UPMC Presbyterian by City of Pittsburgh medics.
March 21 – Officers received a call for the smell of natural gas at Fickes Hall. Upon checking, no odor of natural gas was detected.
March 22 – An officer was dispatched to Pelletreau Apartments for an accident report. The accident was minor, and a report was placed on file.
March 22 – An officer took a report for a broken window at Centre Avenue Suites.
March 29 – An officer took a report of a possible harassment at the police station. The incident is under investigation.
March 29 – An officer took a report for a damaged dryer at Chatham Apartments.
Other updates: Officers responded to one fire alarm at Eden Hall, did three medical transports to urgent care, jump-started two vehicles, conducted three traffic stops on campus and received four lost and found items at the police station.
