Police Blotter: Incidents reported at Chatham University Jan. 5 – Jan. 17

9 a.m. Jan. 5 – Officers along with the City of Pittsburgh police responded to an alarm at 1163 Murray Hill Ave. It was determined that it was a false alarm.

9:45 a.m. Jan. 5 – Officers received a call for an erratic driver at the Shadyside Campus. Officers stopped the vehicle in question, and the operator of the vehicle was advised to be more careful while driving.

1 p.m. Jan. 6 – Officers received a call for someone in Chung Apartments who did not belong there. Officers checked the apartment in question, and no one was found inside.

7:30 p.m. Jan. 7 – Officers were informed of a wallet that was found in Oakland that belonged to a Chatham student. The wallet was received by officers and returned to the student.

7:58 a.m. Jan. 11 – Officers responded to an accident at Chatham Eastside. Upon arrival, officers found a Chatham shuttle was in a minor accident with another bus. No one was injured and officers took a report.

1 p.m. Jan. 17 – Officers received a fire alarm at Anderson Dining Hall, and everyone was evacuated from the building. Fire personnel, along with officers, checked the building and found no fire. It was discovered later that a Parkhurst employee accidentally hit the pull station and set the alarm off. Other reports: Officers conducted five medical transportations to Med Express or UPMC Shadyside
